TCM-025 8HP45-C

Description

• The TCM-025 is a dedicated gearbox / transmission connector from OBDSTAR for the ZF 8HP45-C gearbox (also called Gen3 TC275). It allows connection of OBDSTAR tools (like DC706, X300 Classic G3) to the 8HP45-C’s Transmission Control Module (TCM) for various operations.

Key Functions

Using the TCM-025, you can:

• Read / write the gearbox TCM maps, EEPROM / D-Flash / P-Flash etc.  

• Clone / clone backup the TCM (“ECU clone function”) so you can transfer data from one TCM to another.

• Mileage calibration / repair (correct / adjust the mileage stored in the TCM).

• Virginizing / resetting the TCM (reset it to factory / blank state) via read/write and boot/bench modes.

Modes & Operation

• It supports operations via OBD (in-vehicle), Bench (out of vehicle on a bench), and sometimes Bootmode depending on the tool & TCM.

• Used without needing jumper wires in many cases.

Compatibility & Use

• The gearbox type: ZF 8HP45-C / Gen3 TC275.

• Compatible tools: OBDSTAR DC706, X300 Classic G3 among others.

• If using with non-OBDSTAR tools, may require a Converter V2 for compatibility.
