Description
The Mopar MicroPod II (commonly just called MicroPod II) is a dealer-level diagnostic and programming interface used mainly for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat vehicles. It’s a compact USB-connected dongle that plugs into the vehicle’s OBD-II port and connects to a Windows PC running wiTECH diagnostic software — the official OEM system used by Stellantis dealerships.
Key Features:
• OEM-level diagnostics: Reads and clears codes, views live data, and diagnoses vehicle systems like engine, ABS, SRS, body modules, etc.
• Programming support: With a Tech Authority subscription, it can perform module re-flash programming, access TSBs, wiring diagrams, and repair info.
• 100 % CAN coverage: Supports all CAN-bus equipped Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Fiat vehicles (up to around 2018–2019 and beyond with the correct software).
• OEM replacement: Designed to replace older dealer tools like wiTECH POD, StarMobile, and StarScan.
• Multi-language & PC-based: Works in various languages and requires a Windows laptop or PC.
Usage:
Mechanics and technicians use MicroPod II with the official wiTECH software to diagnose faults, perform advanced tests, calibrations, and update vehicle software — the same interface used in official service centers.
In summary, Micropod II is an OEM diagnostic & programming interface for Chrysler-group vehicles that gives full dealer-level access when used with the proper software and subscriptions.
